Tiber Island Cooperative Homes is an award-winning complex. Built in 1966, Tiber
Island consists of 4 high-rise (8-story) towers and 21 townhouses built around a large
central plaza with a lovely fountain. The plaza forms the roof of our underground
parking garage. Altogether there are 389 living units and 296 parking spaces.
 The historic Thomas Law House, a two-story community center and a swimming
pool complete the main structures.
The monthly fee includes much more than many condominiums and cooperatives. In fact, it includes utilities, cable television, trash and snow removal, professional landscaping (although this doesn't keep those of us who enjoy gardening from helping), all exterior and common area maintenance, security, real estate taxes, insurance on the dwelling, and all the other amenities! Tiber Island is bounded by M, 4th, N and 6th Streets, and the Maine Avenue Promenade - right across the street from Arena Stage and the Spirit of Washington dock!
