| For Tiber Island families,
it's a short walk to schools for
every age, several libraries, and a wide variety of churches. Everything
one needs
for the mind and soul is in the immediate neighborhood!

Tiber
Island adults will enjoy the easy two block stroll to the Southeastern University
campus.
Southeastern University offers students associate, bachelors and masters
degrees in
business-related subjects.
It's
two short blocks to the Southwest Regional Library, our local branch of the
District of
Columbia library system. And if this library doesn't have what you need, a
longer trek or a Metro ride gets you to the huge Martin Luther King Memorial Library or,
better yet, just hike on over to the Library of Congress. If they don't
have it,
nobody does!
Places
of worship scattered throughout downtown
Washington reflect the diversity of this international city and provide services
for every
denomination. Many are within an easy walk of Tiber Island. Saint Augustine's
Episcopal Church is directly across the street, and six others are located within easy
walking distance. Nearby historic Fort McNair also provides nondenominational
services at its chapel.
