The Tiber Island community offers outstanding location and convenience!
Today, Tiber Island is like a small town inside of Washington's downtown. Our local community offers residents easy walking access to almost everything. Tiber Island residents live in a park-like setting with immediate access to the Washington waterfront and its beautiful river views, gorgeous sunsets, marinas, boat excursions, water fowl, fishing pier, seafood restaurants, festivals, tall ships, and waterfront events throughout the year. A shopping center directly across the street includes a bank, drug store and major grocery store; and local neighborhood buses, city-wide buses, and a metro subway system station are all accessible just outside our doors. Recreational opportunities abound on and immediately next to our complex. Dining and entertainment is just around the corner. Schools, churches and libraries are everywhere. Many work places, both government and civilian, are just a few short, easy-walking blocks away. Members of the Armed Forces enjoy the convenience of nearby Fort McNair, the Navy Yard, and Bolling Air Force Base. Just across the Potomac in Virginia, there are Fort Myers and the Pentagon. And sports fans enjoy the short walk to the new Washington Nationals ballpark an easy five blocks away. In short, no matter what one needs or where one wants to go, living at Tiber Island makes it easy!
